(May 3/07) - SWF'S - Important Message ! SWF's for the Fall 2007semester are now being distributed. Please review your SWF to make sure that all information is correct. If you have a question about your SWF, discuss it with your Chair. If you are disatisfied with the Chair's response, check the box to send your SWF to the CWMG (College Workload Monitoring Group)and provide a brief comment in the space provided. Faculty are required to sign and date the SWF in order for the complaint to be considered by the CWMG. As well, forward a copy of the SWF to Bernie Nawrocki (Faculty Chair of the CWMG).According to the collective agreement, faculty have (3) working days from when you receive your SWF to meet with your Chair to discuss any issues. If you do not address the issue(s) with your Chair, it will be assumed that all is well. If your Chair is unavailable within the (3) day period to discuss your complaint, check the box to send the SWF to the CWMG and as well sign and date. Leave it with the secretary and forward a copy to Bernie Nawrocki.If you have any questions, please contact one of the following CWMG members:

(April 24/07) - RTW ClaimsAt convention, the CAAT group had a short meeting. Ted Montgomery indicated that boxes containing the RTW claims have been presented to the arbitration board. Ted indicated that the process is on-going and that he would provide an update in the near future. |
(April 24/07) - Step 21Some faculty have been asking quesitons about the additional step (21) added to the faculty grid. Effective April 1, 2007 step 21 will be given to elegible faculty providing they have worked (1) full year at step 20.As well, for faculty who were at that max and were receiving the recognition allowance as of Sept 1, 2006, they should still be receiving that allowance since the payment of the allowance has been scheduled to be paid in equal installments over a (1) year period. HR has been notified and is currently looking in to this matter to ensure that full payment is received. |
